PLAG reader JH has just informed me that there is a number of NOS Spyders available from wammiworld.com. At over 249 USD apiece, they are a bit pricey, but if a new bridge is all you need to resurrect an otherwise great HM Strat, I suppose it’s a small price to pay. @Jomaheux: the silver screw was a MacGuyvered replacement because the allen-key bolt was stripped. I later replaced the whole part when I got my hands on some spares.
Ah! Ingenuity!
To avoid stripping my Floyds bolts,when tigthening those,i hold the allen wrench by the short part.
