I’m a material girl after all…
Regular readers here might remember that couple of months ago I entered one of the group writing projects over at Problogger, and was lucky enough to win a video iPod. It was kindly donated by New Homes at Nubricks.com (thanks so much, Adam!). They actually had offered a choice between the iPod a week’s stay in a luxury apartment on the Costa del Sol, but because metal divas and sunlight don’t mix, the choice was a no-brainer.
The iPod arrived a few weeks ago, and lemme tell ya — I am in LOVE. It is such a clever, well-made little piece of gear; I’m really impressed with the slickness of the design, the functionality — even the packaging was sexy! The only disadvantage is having to use the aberration that is iTunes to manage my music, but hey, that I can live with.
I certainly won’t have to worry about being bored in the bus during the tour: I can just fill my new little toy with all the Ted Talks and podcasts I’ve been meaning to catch up on.

Happy for you that you’re happy with the iPod! It’s a nifty little thing and the 60GB sure means weeks and weeks of listening pleasure!
It’s great to hear that you’re in love with it. Enjoy your baby
So it’s filled with lots of Rammstein and Feminin Hijinx??
Wow, you’re one lucky metal godess! After all, music is allways a man’s (and a metal divas’) best friend.
Now your only concern will be the battery life.
My daughter recently got, what is it….. an 80 gig, because she maxed out her smaller version. They’re very cool gizmos. If you don’t have one, you might want to get a nice translucent cover for it.
I thought the iPod arrived years ago… :-/
Can you tell us what’s on your iPod while touring? Besides Rammstein of course
Transentience m/
Good choice, the villa looks a bit cheap !;-)
Get one of those metal cases.
It might make the ipod look huge, but it’s worth it for the protection. I’ve had my ipod for several years, and I’ve never had a problem with it, whereas all of my friends have had problems with theirs. Now I get to tell them it’s the power of metal that protects my ipod B)
You won`t be able to live without it!
I am so in love with mine I even gave him a name haha.

Happy Christmas!! And all the best for 2007, I think it will bring lot’s of good stuff
Very sweet. I’m still plodding along with my 2nd Generation iPod (a ‘mere’ 10GB in size). I’d love to get a new one, since my iPod is completely filled.
Now you just need a Mac to accompany that iPod. The only “blue screens” you’ll see will be the blue background of the Mac!
Happy new year Lori keep up the good work and make that guitar of yours sing like a nightingale
