You have to add in ANY video by DIO where he waltzes around with a sword bigger than he is. It’s like 7th graders with a cam corder got together and made their own version of Lord of the Rings. I feel embarrassed whenever I see one.

I should also mention that every Saturday and Sunday here in the USA the music video channel VH1 Classics plays “Metal Mania” which is a 3 to 4 hour block of old metal videos from the 80’s and 90’s. Sometimes I just stare at the screen in total awe at how cheesy and bad some (most) of the videos are. Then I feel really embarrassed when I think of how much I used to love them when they originally aired.

My vote went to Manowar… They’ve got everything! A performance on a big stage with people jumping around in front of them and guitar solo camera wiggling, people on horseback for no apparent reason, sack-wearing people fighting each other, fire, cupid, and to top it off: They wear metal, they wear spikes
Not necessarily cheesy, but this one always makes me raise an eyebrow. I have no clue what they’re on about, but it’s very funny!

I’d like to amend what I said before about swords in metal videos. It goes WAY beyond swords…STAY OUT OF THE FORREST!
